The police officers from Mureș carried out, this weekend, activities to ensure an appropriate climate of order and public safety, increase the degree of road safety and combat the main causes of road accidents, using the eDAC application installed on the mobile device, for quick verification and effective use of identity documents.

“In the course of the action, over 500 people and 275 vehicles were checked, with over 125 tests performed with breathalyzers and nine with those provided. For the detected irregularities, the police applied more than 165 contraventional sanctions, in the amount of more than 93,000 lei, and as a complementary measure, 19 driving licenses were detained, with a view to suspending the exercise of the right to drive, and nine registration certificates were seized . At the same time, seven road traffic offenses were detected”, informed the press office of the Mureș County Police Inspectorate.
