200 meters of monofilament nets were confiscated, yesterday, by the police from Bârca in the Cârna commune. The action was aimed at preventing and combating fish poaching, in the Cârna commune.
3 people between the ages of 26 and 35, all from the Cârna commune, were identified while carrying out acts of fish poaching. They were poaching in the basins belonging to the Oltenia Regional Service. 3 monofilament fishing nets, approximately 200 meters long, were seized for confiscation. According to IPJ Dolj, 102 kilograms of crucian carp and red crucian carp were extracted from the nets.
A criminal file was drawn up for the commission of the crimes of:
- production,
- import,
- holding,
- marketing or use of monofilament netting gear,
- theft.
