Road ACCIDENT on DJ 704 K: A driver lost control of the car and overturned in a rainwater collection channel

A traffic ACCIDENT occurred on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, on DJ 704 K. A driver lost control of the car and overturned into a storm water drain.

According to IPJ Alba, on May 8, 2024 around 8:45 p.m., the police from Cugir intervened on DJ 704 K where a road accident was reported.

From the first investigations, it emerged that a 46-year-old man from Bumbești-Jiu, while driving a car on DJ 704 K, in a curve, allegedly lost control of the car and overturned into a collecting channel of rainwater.

As a result of the accident, a 63-year-old man, passenger in the car, suffered bodily injuries and was transported to the hospital. The driver was tested with the breathalyzer, the result was negative.

The investigations are continued under the aspect of committing the crime of culpable bodily harm.
