GSP: “I think Putin did the right thing by starting the war”. Scandalous statements made by a famous Romanian in the Russian press

In an interview in the Russian media, former defender Daniel Chiriță (50 years old), currently a player-coach of the national team of artists and the patron of a football school, made scandalous statements against Ukraine and says that he is on Russia’s side in the conflict with neighboring country: “I work out in a T-shirt with Putin’s face on it.”

The former player who played in both Ukraine and Russia has a terrible opinion of the neighboring country and believes that more than 75 percent of Romanians share it.

Daniel Chiriță declared himself a fan of Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, and says that he wears a T-shirt with his face in the gym. What’s more, Chiriță says that he has a statuette of Putin on his desk.

I want everyone to know! So write: let everyone know that Chiriță loves Russia! I’m serious. I even have a t-shirt with Putin’s picture on it and wear it to the gym. And in my office I have a statuette of the president, right in plain sight. Maybe the move to the Asian competitions should be considered,” Chiriță told sport-express.ru.
