The former deputy of the head of ITM Bihor, Nadia Racz, sent to court by DNA Oradea prosecutors for bribery and disclosure of non-public information, remains under judicial control.

Although the Bihor Court revoked this measure, under which it had been placed since last fall, the prosecutors contested the decision, and on Thursday, the Oradea Court of Appeals admitted their action.

As such, Nadia Racz will continue to remain with the prohibitions ordered by the anti-corruption prosecutors, including the one to leave the county.

The decision of the Oradea Court of Appeal is final.

As already reported Bihor, Nadia Racz was sent to court last month, by DNA Oradea prosecutors, following an investigation in which she was investigated together with three subordinate employees – inspectors Daniela Hriscu, Natalia Floruţa and Aurica Buhaş from the Labor Relations Control Service. The women were accused of corruption.

The investigators claimed that they acted in different teams and demanded bribes to give warnings instead of fines, in the case of irregularities found at the controlled companies, including for “black work”, that is, hiring one or more employees during the period in which they have a suspended contract.

On December 7, last year, Buhaş, Floruţa and Hriscu signed plea agreements, validated two months later by the Bihor Court through court decisions that remained final: Hriscu and Buhaş, who had collaborated with the investigators, were punished with 1 year and 10 months of suspended prison, while Floruţa received 3 years of suspended prison.

Racz, on the other hand, denied the accusations and remained in the DNA Oradea investigation until April 23, this year, when the prosecutors decided to send her to court as well, for bribery and two crimes of allowing access to unauthorized persons to information that is not intended for advertising.
