Dear fellow citizens,
We continue, through the kindness of the Vrancea Newspaper, to popularize the state of donations for the bust of forestry engineer Neculai BOGDAN, which will be placed at the Vrancea Country Museum in Vidra – “Vrancea Gate”, within the “Vrancea Country Memorial”.
We continue to believe that those who benefit directly from the benefits of the forest, will donate a penny to the memory of those who believed and believe in the saying: “Codru is brother to the Romanian!”
In this way we fulfill the wish expressed in the work,,Archaic Vrancea – history, the causes of the destruction of the forest ecosystem…”, in which the author confesses the following: ,,I hope that the present work will show today’s generation what the Vranca landscapes looked like 50-60 years ago and present an alarm signal for the future, especially for the local councils of the hill and mountain villages”. (p. 12)
