Florin Piersic, one of the biggest actors, recognized worldwide from Romania, recently revealed a secret kept with great care over the years. It has always been speculated about the existence of several children of the actor, but the “myth” seems to be coming true.
The former presenter Dan Negru brought to the fore the emotional story of Măriuca, the secret daughter of Florin Piersic in an interview.
Aged 87, Florin Piersic is recognized for his two boys, Florin Piersic Junior and Daniel Piersic, but until recently few knew about Măriuca, his third child.

And I was looking at her, she also had a little girl. Her face was following me. Did I tell you what’s your name? “Maria”.
I say: “My dear, you are extraordinary, but why are you looking at me like that?”. “Because I love you!”. “Do you love me? Why?”. “I don’t know, but I love you a lot.” (…) I told him: “Where do you live, what do your parents do?”. “I don’t have parents anymore”. How? “My mother fell from a cart with hay and got sick, no one could save her. After two weeks, my father also died.” “And where do you live?” “I’m staying with an aunt”. (…) And we went to her.
The little girl was very dear to me. I had a sister who was lost in 42. I want to do something for this little girl. I say: “I want to raise her!”. Dear ones, what I am telling you now is very important. Then, that’s how I felt that I wanted to raise her”, revealed Florin Piersic, during the interview with Dan Negru.
Florin Piersic’s secret daughter has grown up and is a mother
Over the years, the actor stayed by Măriuca’s side and supported her in her development. Today, Măriuca is married and has two grown daughters, but the connection with Florin Piersic remains very strong.
Măriuca says that Florin Piersic is her benefactor. She married an exceptional man. One of her girls is called Florina, and the other Ștefania, after my name.
“I kept in touch and went to Bucharest and told my parents. Then, father said: “Florin, you have so many problems, we are already old. You are committing to something very serious, because you have to bring it to Bucharest”, according to ego.ro.
I was married, I had problems. Then I listened to my parents, but I immediately got in touch with her, because I often went to Baia Mare. And since then… I said this: that everything I earn from the theater, my salary, I send to this little girl”, declared Piersic.
