TikTok influencer Madison Baloy, with more than 450,000 followers, died of colon cancer at only 26 years old – the cancer was detected in 2022 – VIDEO

Influencer Madison Baloy, who became popular on TikTok after sharing her experience battling terminal cancer, has died at the age of just 26, Breitbart reports.

Baloy, who has amassed more than 452,000 followers, has been battling stage four colon cancer since starting to show symptoms in 2022, and doctors predicted in 2023 that she had five years to live, her family told People.

The content creator, who also taught kindergarten in Florida, inspired many with her simple videos of living life while dealing with the disease.

“Hi, I’m Maddy, I’m 25 years old. I have stage four cancer and it’s spreading to my stomach,” Baloy introduced himself in a video. “Come spend the day with me because I don’t know how many years I have left.”

She filmed herself putting on a wig while taking part in a photoshoot for a brand, having to cancel hanging out with her friends because her body was sore and had to go to the emergency room after bleeding.

At the end of a video, Baloy delivered a surprisingly positive message, saying, “I still have cancer; she’s progressed a lot and I’m the coolest girl in the world.”

Baloy was “surrounded by love” when she died, her fiance Louis Risher confirmed to People.

“Madison passed away peacefully last night,” he said in a statement Thursday.

“She’s so special,” Risher added. “Actually, yesterday, I turned 27 years old. I held her hand all day and that’s what I needed.”

The TikTok star also posted a list of things she wanted to accomplish before she died, including meeting celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.

After the video went viral, the Hell’s Kitchen chef invited her to dine with him at his restaurant in Miami, Florida, and at the opening of his newest restaurant, Lucky Cat, in South Beach.

“I am truly speechless at the sad news we received today of the loss of (Madison),” Ramsay told the New York Post. “She was friendly, fun and a true inspiration to me and my three girls. Knowing that we were able to make one of her dreams come true will always be something I treasure. … We send all our love to the fiance and his family.”
