Tom Holland was not present at the 2024 Met Gala due to a minor head injury caused by a golf ball. However, even though he didn’t accompany his girlfriend on the red carpet at the event in New York, the actor was by her side, supporting her on social media and praising her spectacular outfits.

Tom Instagrammed a few pictures of the outfits Zendaya wore to the event, adding three heart emojis to the post’s description. Fans appreciated the actor’s support for his partner, with the post garnering over 9.3 million likes in less than 24 hours.

Co-chairing the evening alongside Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny and Chris Hemsworth, the “Euphoria” actress changed two outfits. The first dress, a special haute couture creation of green and blue tulle that featured an elegant train, fitted her figure perfectly. The outfit was accompanied by dramatic make-up and carefully chosen accessories, featuring embellishments that mimicked grapes to match this year’s theme, as well as a black feather.

Later, the actress appeared on the red carpet in a vintage black dress with a long train by Givenchy Haute Couture. She also changed her hat, this time wearing an oversized one embroidered with flowers in shades of pink, white, yellow and red.

Tom Holland missed the prestigious event due to an accident caused by a golf ball during a recent game in Scotland. The actor’s father confirmed that Tom was sent to the hospital for some checks, claiming that it was nothing serious.
