Matt Damon and his beautiful wife, Luciana Barroso, were not absent from the Met Gala 2024, but also from the party after the event. On the red carpet, the two were detached as if from magazines. The actor donned a classic tuxedo, while his partner was simply stunning in a white dress.

After posing on the steps of New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art and partying indoors with other A-list stars, Matt and Luciana ditched the sobriety of the gala for more comfortable outfits. Pictured by the paparazzi with their famous friends, such as Penelope Cruz, Shakira, Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky, the Damon-Barroso couple attended a party from which they left at dawn.

Luciana was the one who stole all the attention. The 47-year-old ex-bartender and mother of four, the brunette relied on a brave clothing choice, a totally transparent mesh skirt and a short tank top. She paired her outfit with sneakers so she could dance to her heart’s content and because she needed a break from hours spent in heels. And it looks like she had a blast, as she and the actor were spotted on the streets of New York the next morning in the same outfits as they headed back to their hotel, a sign that the party lasted until dawn. Like a true gentleman, Matt Damon lent his jacket to his partner.

Matt Damon fell in love at first sight with the barmaid who became his wife

Matt Damon has been married to Luciana Barroso for almost 20 years, and the two of them form not only one of the longest-lasting couples in Hollywood, but also one of the most beautiful.

The Argentinian and Matt Damon met in 2003, in Miami, during the filming of the movie “Stuck on You”. Luciana was a barmaid at the time and she conquered the star at first sight who had gone with his colleagues to the bar where she worked. Two years later they were married in New York, and in 2006 they had their first child. Two more girls came into their lives in 2008 and 2010, with Matt now the proud father of three teenage girls. Moreover, he is also stepfather to Alexia, Luciana’s 24-year-old daughter from a previous marriage.
