Remus Dobra, a priest from Timiş County, died in a terrible road accident on the A1 highway, after being thrown from an Audi.
The accident occurred last evening, around 8:15 p.m., after the car driven by priest Remus Dobra, an Audi car, hit a TIR, and then crashed violently into the metal parapet on the side of the highway.
Following the particularly violent impact, the priest was thrown from the car and died on the spot.
“On the evening of September 27, around 8:15 p.m., on the A1 highway, lane 1, at km. 531, a road accident occurred, as a result of which a person lost his life. A car driven by a man of 45 years old, from Timiș County, hit the back of a road assembly, later colliding with the side parapet. The victim was ejected from the vehicle, the medical staff on the scene declared him dead. The driver of the train was tested with the device alcohol test, the result being negative”, announced the representatives of IPJ Arad.
Priest Remus Dobra was a representative of the Greek Catholic Diocese of Lugoj.
