Utility, price, operation with low fuel consumption, these are the qualities with which the vehicles produced by Dacia stood out.
But what would happen if the brand’s designers got down to drawing a sports car?
The Speeder model could be the result. Those from the website Garaz.cz and the designer Rostislav Prokop made some rendered images of a Dacia Speeder, a sports coupe that looks quite interesting compared to what we were used to seeing from Dacia.
The popular Sandero model was chosen as a starting point, so the car will be exclusively front-wheel drive if it ever goes into production. The design of the front part follows the design language of the brand, so we see the new Dacia logo and the characteristic LED headlights.
The side of the model has an aerodynamic shape. The wheels are light alloy with disc brakes front and rear, turn signals in the fender and grips nicely recessed into the bodywork. As for the chassis, the Sandero’s chassis is used here, but lowered and with modified shock absorbers.

The rear is dominated by a subtle spoiler. The rear light blocks also use LED technology. On the trunk is the brand logo and the Speeder emblem.
The Speeder could be the sportiest Dacia ever
The sports model’s exhaust system is routed through the center with a decorative tailpipe at the end. Because of this, there probably won’t be a spare wheel, just a tire repair kit.
The designer even drew the very basic version of the Speeder, so to speak. The cheapest Speeder has no unpainted bumpers, handles or mirror caps. The alloy wheels have been replaced by cheaper steel wheels, but even these are quite a nice design.
Those with an eye for detail will certainly notice how the tank cap has been integrated. So is the shark fin antenna, brake light located at the bottom of the rear bar and simple sports seats inside. Also, there is even a sticker with the GPL sign on the rear window.
Clearly, if the Dacia Speeder ever goes into production and maintains its current pricing policy, it could be the most beautiful and cheapest sports car on the market.
