Ivan Pechorin, the general director of the state corporation for the development of the Far East and the Arctic (KRDS), which oversaw the Russian aviation industry, died under tragic circumstances. This was reported by the company’s press service.
This is the second death of top officials of the corporation. In February of this year, general director Igor Nosov died. According to official data, the man suffered a stroke.

“Ivan’s death is an irreparable loss to friends and colleagues, a great loss to the corporation. We offer our sincere condolences to the family and friends,” the agency wrote.
Russian media reports that Pechorin fell from the moving boat in the area of Cape Ignatiev on Russian Island in the Primorsky region of the Russian Federation. The tragedy happened in the evening of September 10. A distress signal to assist in the search for the missing person was sent to all ships in the vicinity.

Two days later, on September 12, the man was found near the village of Berehove, which is located on the opposite side of the Amur Bay.
It should be noted that on February 8, the general director of KRDS, Igor Nosov, who held this position since May 2021, died. According to official data, the man suffered a stroke and then fell into a coma. Doctors were unable to save him, and Nosov died.
And top managers of the VK social network, Volodymyr Gabrielyan and Serhiy Merzlyakov, died during a trip to Russia’s Nenets Autonomous District. Their boat capsized while crossing the river and the men were swept into the White Sea.
