Mihai Enache, the AUR candidate for the Bucharest City Hall, was assaulted while he was in the City Hall of Sector 6 and was discussing with the employees of the City Hall about the erection and destruction of the AUR tents in the sector. The tents intended for collecting signatures had a valid authorization, but they were stolen and destroyed a day before the deadline by the team of the District 6 City Hall, the party representatives also say.

“The authorization as of May 10 was obtained by the Initiative Committee for the revision of the Constitution, with our consent to use the metal structures in our property. Mayor Ciprian Ciucu admitted that those tents had authorization, but instead of accepting a dialogue with us to find an amicable solution, he ran away and sent the Local Police to forcibly evacuate us from the institution”, said Mihai Enache, according to the press release press release of AUR.

Mihai Enache approached the problem in a civilized way and tried to find a solution, but he was assaulted and kicked out of the institution, without receiving any explanation related to the situation of the vandalized and stolen tents, says the quoted source.
