A serious road accident took place on Thursday in Tulcea county, involving a minibus and an all-terrain vehicle. The event resulted in seven victims, the injured being taken by several ambulances.

Mobilization of forces at the exit from the municipality of Tulcea to the town of Agighiol, here where a terrible accident occurred. An all-terrain vehicle and a minibus with passengers collided violently. Nine people were involved in the incident.

As a result of the impact, seven people were injured. It is about the drivers of the two vehicles and five passengers. According to the first information, it seems that the victims are conscious, but have various traumas.

Several medical crews were called to the scene. The injured will be evaluated by specialists, and later they will be transported to medical facilities. The traffic police also arrived in the area.

For now, the circumstances in which the accident occurred are not clear. It remains for the investigations carried out by the law enforcement officers to establish the conditions under which the road event took place this afternoon.

A similar incident was reported at the beginning of this year, in January, in the town of Braișoru in Cluj County. A minibus and a car were involved in a serious accident, also resulting in seven injuries.

Among the victims were four children, aged between 7 months and 11 years. The drivers and a 30-year-old woman were also injured. All seven arrived at the hospital for medical treatment.

It all happened after the driver of the car, a 22-year-old man, lost control of the wheel while on a dangerous curve. The car would have ended up on the opposite side, entering the means of public transport.
