Use of term ‘Momogun’. Urgent dialogue needed: Henrynus | Daily Express Malaysia

Kota Kinabalu: Former Momogun National Congress (MNC) President Datuk Henrynus Amin said the use of “Momogun” as a national identity is gaining traction, and there is an urgent need for dialogue with stakeholders at both the State and Federal levels.

He said the move is needed to address the issue of a common national identity for the Dusunic, Murutic and Paitanic communities.

He praised United Pasokmomogun Kadazandusun Murut Organization (Upko) President Datuk Ewon Benedick for advocating the use of the term “Momogun” to collectively represent the dusunic, murutic and paitanic indigenous community in Sabah.
