This evening, there was a road accident in the commune of Ștefan cel Mare.
The accident involved a car in which there were two adults and a 5-year-old minor. According to ISU Neamț, the three people were picked up by the SMURD and SAJ crews and transported to UPU Piatra-Neamț.
Following the investigations carried out by the police, it emerged that, while a 31-year-old man was driving a car, from the direction of Cârligi towards Bodești, he allegedly lost control over the direction of travel, leaving the roadway and entering the car in a fence.
As a result of the road incident, the driver and two other people, aged 5 and 29, passengers in the same car, were injured.
The driver was tested with the breathalyzer, the result indicating a concentration of 0.77 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air. At the same time, biological samples were collected to determine the alcohol level.
The police are continuing the investigations regarding the commission of the crimes of driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and culpable bodily harm.
