Lives shattered on the road. Two people died in a terrible road accident, which happened on the outskirts of the city of Dolhasca. Crews of the Police, Ambulance and Firefighters immediately went to the scene.
The tragedy happened this morning.
The persons were on a motorbike and were traveling within the radius of Budeni village. At one point, the scooter crashed into a concrete footbridge. The scooter had Italian registration numbers.
The road accident happened around 2:00.
The firefighters of the Dolhasca Work Station arrived at the scene, the crews being present with the fire truck and the extrication module, as well as the ambulance with SMURD paramedics.
Given the seriousness of the accident, an ambulance crew moved to support the two victims.
It is about two men, a 22-year-old and a 34-year-old, both in a state of unconsciousness.
The injuries suffered by the victims were very serious.
After the resuscitation protocol was completed, despite best efforts, both individuals were pronounced dead.
The scooter was crushed, following the impact with the concrete bridge, the rear wheel being completely dislodged.
The circumstances in which the fatal road accident occurred are to be established by the investigative bodies.
The police have opened a criminal case and are continuing the investigation.
