The National Trade Union Bloc, through the Romanian Postal Workers Union, informs that the strike started at the level of the Romanian Post National Company ended this morning, April 3, 2024, following the signing of the new collective labor agreement and its registration at the Territorial Labor Inspectorate of the Municipality of Bucharest .

“After tens of hours of negotiations, we extinguished the labor dispute at Romanian Post and people returned to work today. Today the Collective Labor Agreement was officially registered at ITM and thus people have the guarantee of a concrete salary increase The salary increase will be on average between 350 and 400 lei net, from July 1 and September 1. The manner in which the increase will be granted will be established by mutual agreement between the union and the company’s management.
The most important thing is that the pensions will be distributed on time and that the 21,500 employees of the Romanian Post have predictability in the salary policy.
I thank the union leaders for the constructive discussions, Mr. Dumitru Costin, the President of the National Bank of Romania, Mr. Ioan Oțelea, the President of the SLPR and their entire team. I also thank the negotiation team from the Romanian Post, led by Mr. Director Tapalăgă Constantin”, Minister Bogdan Ivan said.
