Firefighters from ISU Cluj intervened on the morning of Wednesday, April 3, at a road accident in which four cars were involved. The event took place on Decebal street, and the four cars were destroyed after a drunk Uber driver entered the wrong direction and lost control of the car. The road incident did not register any victims incarcerated or people requiring medical attention.
“From the preliminary investigations, it was found that a driver practicing alternative transport, aged 23, from Mureș county, was traveling with a car on Decebal street towards Căii ferate street, traveling in the opposite direction, at which point he would have lost control over the direction of travel, colliding with a parked car. Later, the parked car was projected into a pillar and into two other parked cars”, IPJ Cluj reported.
The driver was tested by the police with the breathalyzer, showing a concentration of 0.54 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air.
At the same time, testing with the drugtest device indicated a negative result. The young man was taken to a medical facility where his biological samples were collected.
In the case, investigations were started in terms of committing the crime of driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
