Six people were injured in a road accident that occurred on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, in the town of Lunca Corbului in Argeş County. One of the victims was unconscious, but had vital functions, according to News.ro.
“From the preliminary checks, carried out by the policemen from the Argeş Road Service, it was established that a 44-year-old man, from Slatina, Olt county, who was driving a car on DN 65, from Slatina to Pitesti, in circumstances to be determined following the investigations, he entered the opposite direction, where he collided with a car, driven by a 29-year-old woman from Bucharest”, reported IPJ Argeş.
As a result of the accident, the 44-year-old driver was seriously injured, the female driver and a 37-year-old passenger in the car driven by her were slightly injured, as well as the bodily injury of three other 47-year-old passengers, from Vâlcea county, for 47 years, respectively 37 years, from Olt county, from the first car.
“Given the medical condition, the driver could not be tested with the breathalyzer, as biological blood samples were collected to determine the alcohol level. For the car driver, the result of the breathalyzer test was zero”, the cited source added.
Two people tried
Following the accident, two people remained incarcerated.
“There were 6 people in the two cars. All six people are adults (two women and four men) and needed medical care and transport to the hospital”, reported ISU Argeş.
The victims extracted were a 44-year-old male person, found unconscious but with vital functions, who was picked up and transported to the hospital by the SMURD mobile intensive care team, presenting several traumas to the body.
The second victim was a 29-year-old female, extracted conscious from the other car and handed over to a SAJ crew.
Another victim, a 37-year-old female, was injured in the upper left limb and complained of chest pains, received medical attention and was transported to the hospital by a SMURD crew.
The other three victims were picked up by the SAJ crews and transported to the hospital.
