A serious road event took place today, on DN 7, in the town of Bujoreni, at km 182+ 800. According to the Valceni police, there was a collision between a car, a truck and a train.
Forces from the Râmnicu Vâlcea Fire Department rushed to the site of the event, with a fire truck with extrication mode, two extrication vehicles, a first aid and command vehicle and a SMURD ambulance, as well as 3 SAJ ambulances .
“A minibus, a car and a truck (transporting timber) were involved in the road accident, as well as 7 occupants, 2 of whom were incarcerated (in the minibus).
The incarcerated/trapped persons (one trapped and one incarcerated) were quickly extracted by the Valceni rescuers and were handed over to the medical crews present on the scene.
As a result of the collision, there were four victims, 3 adults and a minor (all from the minibus), one of whom was in a serious condition (the incarcerated person, female), who were transported to UPU Vâlcea by the SMURD and SAJ crews”, they stated the Valceni firefighters.
Vehicle traffic was diverted on DJ 703 G and DJ 703 L Daesti – Călimănești.
Traffic police are on site to monitor road traffic.
