Hidroelectrica Company has updated the price of electricity for household customers.

Hidroelectrica customers whose contracts expire in the next period, as well as those who want to conclude an electricity supply contract, can benefit from the company’s offer until the end of this month.

On Monday, April 1, the company updated its price offer, which is valid from April 1 – 30, 2024.

“The Company for the Production of Electric Energy in Hydroelectric Power Plants HIDROELECTRICA SA offers you to benefit from the advantages of the VIITOR VERDE offer by concluding an electricity supply contract on the free market.

What we offer you:

  • Green energy;
  • Relaxed payment term: 45 days after issuing the invoice;
  • Invoices are issued monthly, calculated based on meter readings/estimates/self-readings and can be sent electronically or on paper;
  • The payment of invoices can be made in the ONLINE applications of the banks, by means of a TEMPLATE in which you must fill in the payment identification data mentioned in the invoice; at the Payment Machines; by scanning the Bar Code, at partners who have this facility; by DIRECT DEBIT;
  • Secure communication and transmission of documents using online means;
  • Full accessibility: We supply electricity in any location in Romania;
  • 100% Fairness: the guarantee that there are NO hidden fees in the supply contract;
  • The possibility to enter the auto-read index, to consult information about invoices and to send various requests through the portal provided (https://client.hidroelectrica.ro) as well as by phone, through the Call Center service at the phone numbers 021 9834, 021 9861;
  • facilitating the relationship with the network operator based on the mandate granted;

The price of electricity

The price of electricity (includes TG, the transport tariff – the component of introducing electricity into the network) for a contractual period of 12 months is 0.28382 lei/kWh.

The price of active electricity (without TG, the transport tariff – the component of introducing electricity into the network) for a contractual period of 12 months is 0.28000 lei/kWh.

In other words, Hidroelectrica maintains its price.

“This offer is valid until 30.04.2024 and is applicable during the period of application of the provisions of Government Emergency Ordinance no. 27/2022 regarding the measures applicable to final customers in the electricity and natural gas market in the period April 1, 2022-March 31, 2025, as well as for the amendment and completion of some normative acts in the field of energy, approved with subsequent amendments and additions.

The regulated tariffs are set by the National Energy Regulatory Authority and may undergo changes both until the conclusion of the contract and during the duration of the contract as a result of legislative changes”, the Hidroelectrica offer also states.

According to the company, the contractual period is 12 months for the contracts concluded during the validity period of the offer.

What happens to customers whose contracts expire

“After the expiration of the validity period of the active electricity price, respectively of the contract price, the new values ​​are brought to the attention of customers by means of a notification sent by e-mail or post, at least 30 days before the date of their entry into force .

The Contract will be automatically extended for successive Contractual Periods, equal to the Initial Period, if none of the parties expresses by the 20th of the last month of each Contractual Period for which it was concluded or extended, the intention to terminate it”, more write company representatives.
