TABLE // How much is a kg of wheat, corn or sunflower sold today on the market in the Republic of Moldova

A kilogram of edible wheat is sold today on the market in the Republic of Moldova with prices between 2.7 – 3.2 lei. In February, food wheat cost around 3 lei per kilogram throughout the territory of the Republic of Moldova.

Data from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA) show that corn and sunflowers have become slightly cheaper in the last month.

Thus, a kg of corn today costs between 2.3 – 2.65 lei, but in February it was sold for 2.7 – 2.75 lei per kilogram.

At the same time, a kilogram of sunflower now costs between 6.3 – 7 lei, while during February sunflower seeds were sold at prices between 7.12 – 7.25 lei per kg.
