On April 1 this year, around 02:50, policemen from the Road Safety Service were alerted to the fact that a road accident had occurred on the A2 Highway.
The police officers dispatched to the scene found that the impact occurred between a road combination consisting of a tractor and a semi-trailer, which was driven by a 32-year-old man, and a road combination consisting of a tractor and a semi-trailer, stopped in the emergency lane and properly signaled.
The man was tested with the breathalyzer, the result being 0.59 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air.
Later, he was taken to a medical unit, for the taking of biological samples, in order to establish the blood alcohol level.
