A great tragedy occurred in Borca commune, Neamt county, on the night of March 31. The brothers George Alexandru and Raul Ciprian from Poiana Teiului, Neamț lost their lives following an accident. Also, another young man, Cristian from Holdita commune, Suceava county, died. The doctors tried to revive him, but he responded to the maneuvers. The cars they were in touched at speed, went through the fence and through the garage of a house and broke the concrete pillars.
Three people managed to self-evacuate from the destroyed cars, but were transported to the hospitals in Târgu Neamț and Piatra Neamț, with multiple head and chest injuries. The three young people who lost their lives were taken out by the intervention forces. Raul, Alex and Cristian remained imprisoned in the vehicles. A seventh person aged 23 escaped unharmed, refusing transport to hospital.
The law enforcement officers have opened a criminal case for manslaughter and for manslaughter, to establish the exact circumstances in which the accident occurred. From the first information, the culprit of the accident would be Cristian, the 23-year-old driver who died, because he would not have kept the legal distance.
