Bizarre plane crash, ended with no casualties on board. An airplane crashed into another aircraft, which was on the runway. The impact was not strong, but it resulted in substantial property damage.

Plane crash in Sudan

A Boeing 727 cargo plane, operated by the Cush Air company, crashed during the landing maneuver at Malakal airport. It is located in the administrative center of the Upper Nile province of South Sudan.

According to airport officials, the plane crashed into an aircraft preparing for takeoff.

Only one person was injured

Although airport staff initially said there were no casualties, management later confirmed that one person was injured.

“There were seven people on board the plane. All are unharmed except for one who was injured,” airport representative Bola Miyoka Luala said.

According to eyewitnesses, the plane touched the ground a few meters before the start of the runway. The pilot would have lost control of the aircraft, and for this reason, the crash was inevitable. The ship on the runway was loaded at the time of impact. For this reason, the authorities claim that there is a danger of an explosion.

Plane crash in Canada. Ten people died

At the end of January, another plane crash occurred in Canada. A plane carrying workers from Rio Tinto crashed near Fort Smith.

The mission of the intervention teams was one against the clock. Three Royal Canadian Air Force squadrons were involved in the search and rescue efforts. The aircraft was found near the Slave River. According to the investigation, the pilot lost contact immediately after takeoff. As a result of this tragedy, ten people lost their lives.

Also at the beginning of the year, actor Christian Oliver and his daughters died in a plane crash. The wreckage of the private aircraft was found on an island in the Caribbean.
