Four people were involved, on Sunday afternoon, in a road accident within the Horodnic de Jos commune.
According to the police investigation, on Sunday, at around 5:15 p.m., a driver from Rădăuți was driving a Skoda car on DC46, inside the commune of Horodnic de Jos from the center of the commune of Horodnic de Jos towards the commune of Horodnic de Sus.
At one point, arriving near the intersection with DC46B, in a left curve, the driver did not adapt the appropriate speed to the road conditions, on which occasion he lost control of the steering wheel, left the roadway through the right side of his direction of travel , colliding with the fence post of a building.
There were three other occupants in the car, and as a result of the road accident, the car was damaged and a passenger from Sucevița, who was on the back seat of the car, was slightly injured.
The driver was tested with the breathalyzer device, the result was negative, after which he was taken to the Rădăuți Municipal Hospital, where biological blood samples were taken to determine his alcohol level.
