How stupid, how hypocritical, how false! Mehedinți deputy Cornel Folescu, who was elected on the PSD lists and later defected to the AUR, fully confirms his reputation as a political trailblazer as these days he officially switched to the PNL. After being active in AUR Mehedinți for 3 months and glorifying both the party’s doctrine and those in the central leadership led by George Simion, now Folescu has completely turned his back. Specifically, the dignitary concluded that AUR is a “fabrication” and a “fake”.

Along with Folescu, the liberals from Mehedin received two local councilors from CL Severin, ex-PSD, opportunistic and worthless politicians, unknown to anyone, as treasures. Deputy Cornel Folescu and the two trailist municipal councilors, Magda Dumitrescu and Robert Boagiu, officially joined PNL Mehedinţi, and, in order to have a public justification of their trailism, they declared that their short experience at AUR completely disappointed them.

“There is no Alliance for the Union of Romanians, it is a fabrication! It is the Alliance for the Separation of Romanians, a mercantile matter! I tried as much as possible to make the politics of the people. Where I did not find myself in ideology, I took a discreet step back. At AUR we are talking about falsehood, not ideology”, declared the route deputy Cornel Folescu.

It should be noted that the former deputy mayor of Severin from the time of the PDL, Mircea Grosu, a criminally convicted politician, who served several years in prison in Drobeta Turnu Severin penitentiary, is also part of the Folescu group of trailblazers lost through the AUR and taken by the PNL Mehedinți.
