What the Serbian attacker told authorities when he confessed to the crimes

The tragedy happened yesterday, May 3, at a school in Belgrade. The criminal is 13 years old and an honor student of the 7th grade. After mercilessly killing several people, he called 911, telling what he had done.

“I’m Kosta Kecmanovic and I’ve killed several people,” he told the authorities. The competent persons, who arrived at the scene, found a gun and four Molotov cocktails in the attacker’s backpack. The aim would have been to create a wall of defense around the school, in order to have time to escape.

The father of the attacker claims that he had the weapons locked in a safe whose code was found out by his son. Moreover, for a month, he had been preparing his attack, he had even written on a sheet the names of the students he wanted to kill.

On an A4 sheet, he had passed “targets to eliminate first”being the classes on the first floor, noted in the order in which they were placed in the corridor.

“The history room was near the school entrance. His class had this subject as their first lesson of the day. As soon as he arrived, the young man shot the guard. Then he turned to the children.” said Veselin Milic, head of the police in Belgrade.
