It has been more than a month since 31-year-old Lucia Alexandroae has been missing. The Romanian woman settled in Belgium disappeared from home and no one found her.

The investigation in this case led prosecutors to the point where they detained the woman’s husband.

Lucia would not have left home without her daughter

The initial version that the police heard from the man’s mouth was that Lucia left home without any explanation and left him alone to take care of their little girl. But the woman’s sisters know that she would never have done that, the Romanian being extremely close to her daughter.

Moreover, for some time, Lucia would have expressed her desire that she is no longer satisfied in her marriage and would like to divorce. She was last seen on December 6 in the “Village Designer Outlet McArthurGlen” in Messancy, a few kilometers from the Luxembourg border. On December 8, Lucia spoke via video call with one of her sisters, and since December 10, no one has heard from her.

Our mother had gone to Belgium. He returned to Romania on December 8. The family had video call contact with Lucia that Thursday evening. On Saturday morning, December 10, she disappeared between 10 and 11. Her husband told us she was gone, he didn’t know anything about her. She didn’t tell us anything. He would not have left his little girl. If the police say she disappeared on December 6, it’s because that’s the last time she was seen alive“, said one of the sisters.

On Tuesday, January 11, the law enforcement officers disturbed the peaceful life of the residents of Sterpenich village, Arlon region, coming to the residence where the two lived. After detaining Lucia’s husband, the police searched the family’s house and garden in detail. An excavator was spotted nearby, writes the local publication wort.lu, which will dig in the garden, but also in the nearby forest. The investigators believe that the Romanian woman was killed and later buried.
