A catastrophic accident happened on the night of Sunday to Monday in Amasya, after which 3 famous actors lost their lives and eight others were injured.

The world of Turkish cinema was recently shaken by a terrible tragedy. A minibus carrying theater actors violently hit a truck in the town of Amasya, and as a result of the terrible impact, three people lost their lives and eight others were injured and rushed to the hospital for medical treatment. Famous actors Ceyhun Fersoy, Sergen Deveci and Melis İşiten were among the injured.

According to the Turkish press, the minibus carrying theater actors, including the famous Ceyhun Fersoy, Melis İşiten and Sergen Deveci, violently hit a truck from behind, on the Amasya-Çorum highway, near the town of Merzifon. Despite the fact that ambulances quickly arrived at the scene, unfortunately three of the actors who were in the minibus, Tolga Güleryüz, Burak Topçu and Özgü Karataș, were stuck inside and died on the spot.

The other eight people in the damaged minibus, the injured driver and the actors Özgür Ayaz, Burak Gülçebi, Melis İşiten, Sergen Deveci, Uğur Şalvarcıoğlu, Ceyhun Fersoy and Filiz Özbek, were injured and taken to the hospital. Among them, the one who is in serious condition was Sergen Deveci.

The Turkish press also mentioned the fact that among the people injured in the terrible accident was the actress Melis İşiten, the ex-wife of the famous actor, Uraz Kaygılaroğlu, who fortunately escaped with only a few superficial injuries and is currently feeling well.
