Motorola is set to announce its new Edge 50 Pro phone on April 3 in India. Although there is not much left until the debut, today we find out what the commercialization amount of the terminal would be. We do not yet know if it arrives on the same date in Europe, but the terminal has just been listed by an Italian retailer in a configuration with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. How much does it cost?
According to Gizmochina we are talking about an amount of 864 euros for this variant in the shade Black Beauty. However, in India it is rumored that the phone would cost only 500 euros in the same configuration, and after the debut there should be offers that will bring the price of the terminal even lower. There would be a difference of 364 euros between the version in Europe and the one sold in India if the rumor is true.
It is not clear if we can believe the rumors, I tend to think that the retailer in Italy is the one who put an exaggerated price for a phone with modest specifications, and we are not talking about a commercialization amount communicated through the official channel.
We can say that it is a true high midrange, but in no case is it close to the amount of 870 euros in value. It brings a curved pOLED display of 6.7 inches, with a refresh rate of 144Hz, a resolution of 1.5K and a brightness of up to 2000 nits in the peak.
Under the hood, it comes with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, runs Android 14 and will receive 3 years of software updates. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro would bring a 50 MP camera with OIS and autofocus on the back, an ultrawide one, but also a telephoto one that offers 6X optical zoom.
