Marouane Fellaini retired from football

Fellaini made his debut to Standard Liege, with whom he won the title of Belgian champion in 2008. In the same year, he was transferred by Everton for 20 million euros, becoming the most expensive transfer in the history of Belgian football at the time.

“Big Mo” wore the shirt of the “candies” 177 times before signing with another Premier League team, Manchester United, in the summer of 2013. The Belgian footballer won a League Cup with United (2016), a FA Cup and a Super Cup (both in 2017), as well as the Europa League trophy (also in 2017).

In 2019, the midfielder signed with the Chinese team Shandong Taishan, with whom he concluded his contract in November 2023.

Marouane Fellaini has 87 selections in the Belgian national team, for which he scored 18 times. He participated in the 2014 World Cup, EURO 2016, as well as the 2018 World Cup, where Belgium finished third.
