The soldiers from ISU Dobrogea were requested to intervene on Sunday, April 28, around 07:50, in the resort of Mamaia, in the area of the Sulina hotel, at the closed jetty, where a person drowned.
According to the first information, it is about a man aged around 50 years. A SMURD B, 1 ASAS crew from the Fripis Detachment, as well as a RHIB boat, intervened on the scene.
The body of the deceased man was recovered from the sea and handed over to the Ambulance crew.

“On April 28, police officers from the Constanța Municipal Police-Mamaia Police Station were alerted to the fact that the body of a man was found in the Black Sea. The policemen dispatched to the scene found that the reports are confirmed, the deceased person not being identified until this moment. In the case, investigations are continuing in order to establish the causes of death and to identify the person, as a criminal investigation file has been drawn up for the crime of manslaughter”said the representatives of the Constanța County Police Inspectorate.
