Recently, clues about a mysterious smartphone have been discovered. It was believed to be a Nothing model, even the so-called Nothing Phone (3). However, there are rumors that the model number associated with this device belongs to a phone made by CMF, a sub-brand of Carl Pei’s company. Below we have details.
It is about a phone with the model number “A015”, discovered by the publication Android Headlines. According to the certification, we are talking about a phone belonging to Nothing Technology. However, looking at the model number, something is off. The first Nothing Phone had the model number A063. The next one, Phone (2), has the model number A065. Thus, it seems that the A015 cannot be a successor to this latest model.
Later, the terminal was certified by BIS, and the people from 91Mobiles discovered that it is actually a CMF device. It is not clear which smartphone we are talking about, unfortunately. So far CMF has only released wearable, audio products. We’re talking about a smartwatch that I’ve also tested, a pair of CMF Buds Pro headphones, a quick charger, and recently two new pairs of wireless headphones.
Now, it remains to be seen what this CMF terminal will look like, but also how much it will cost. In theory we are talking about a budget phone, probably with a price below 200 euros.
