A gendarme was caught in drug trafficking on her (sources)/ The case was taken over by BCCO

A gendarme was caught in traffic on Monday with drugs on her, according to G4Media sources. The woman was caught by police officers from Section 18 who confirmed that she is part of the Special Intervention Brigade of the Gendarmerie.

• “We confirm the fact that on 19.11.2023, following a routine traffic control, the policemen from Section 18 discovered on a female gendarme substances likely to be prohibited in custody”, the policemen said.

The case was taken over by BCCO representatives, in order to continue the research.

• “We reaffirm, transparently, as we have done every time, our readiness to offer unconditional support to the institutions of the Romanian state and whenever we are asked for information that can elucidate such situations, we will provide, in emergency regime, all requested data. Immediately after the completion of the checks and the communication by the competent institutions, we will order the necessary measures in accordance with the legislation in force”, the policemen also sent.
