If you had problems with the application and services Fitbit on November 16, 2023, learn that you were not alone. The problem was more widespread than you think and affected a lot of users. Find out what it’s about below.

A month has passed since the last similar drop and it seems that Fitbit is in trouble again. It’s about a server crash that causes syncing of Fitbit data from the device to the server to have problems. Couldn’t sync data from Pixel Watch 2, Fitbit Charge 6, or any other device that uses the Fitbit app either.

It all started at 11 a.m. on November 16 and basically meant a complete shutdown of the Fitbit app, especially on the East and West Coasts of the United States. Whoever started the application at that time only received a screen with empty areas and the message “Syncing your data” above, but without synchronization. If hours have passed and you haven’t synced the data, you’re stuck with the old ones, even after a fitness session. You have instances of complaints on Reddit about the problem.

Google, the company that bought Fitbit years ago, announced that the problem was solved after a few hours. Thousands of people were affected by the situation in October. Rumors say that the integration of Fitbit’s solutions with Google’s is still problematic. There were two other big drops this year. Fitbit also recently recalled its products in more than 10 countries.
