Russian President Vladimir Putin has an evacuation plan from the country, which involves him fleeing to Venezuela or Argentina if Russia loses the war in Ukraine. The information was revealed for the first time by a former employee of the Kremlin, in charge of writing presidential speeches, informs Newsweek.

The former employee in question, Abbas Galiamov, is currently a political analyst living in exile in Israel since 2018. Galiamov said the information was provided to him by a “reliable source” who told him that the Kremlin had been working on a plan since spring reserve for the situation in which Russia suffers a defeat in Ukraine.

“As a rule, I don’t reveal such behind-the-scenes stories, but today I will make an exception,” Galiamov said in a post published on Telegram. “First, I trust my source too much, and second, the information is extremely juicy.”

Thus, the plan to evacuate Putin from Russia is called – unofficially – “Noah’s Ark”.

Initially, China was the “destination country” for the Russian leader, but currently the main countries considered for the evacuation of Putin from Russia are Argentina and Venezuela.

“As the name (Noah’s Ark) suggests, it’s about finding a new place to settle in if it becomes extremely uncomfortable to stay in your own country.”

“Those in his entourage do not rule out the possibility that he (Putin) will lose the war, lose power and have to be urgently evacuated somewhere,” said the former Kremlin employee.

Galiamov said that the person responsible for the preparation and execution of the “Noah’s Ark” plan is Yuri Kurilin, former vice president of the Russian energy company Rosneft. Kurilin, who also has American citizenship, formally resigned from this company in the summer and is now fully dedicated to the “Noah’s Ark” project regarding the possible evacuation of Putin from the country, should he lose power in Russia .
