The two young men were caught in the municipality of Turda in Cluj County.

Between September 21-22 this year, during the actions carried out by the traffic police of the Turda municipality for the safety of traffic participants and the prevention of traffic accidents, two situations were found in which the drugtest device indicated the presence of prohibited substances.

On September 21 this year, at around 5:50 p.m., the car driven by a 27-year-old man from the municipality of Turda was stopped by the police while traveling on Libertății Street.

His testing with the drugtest device indicated the presence of psychotropic substances, and he was taken to a medical facility for the collection of biological samples.

Yesterday, September 22, around 7:30 p.m., the police stopped a car driven by an 18-year-old man in traffic, on Calea Victoriei.

When testing the driver, the drug test device indicated a positive result for the consumption of prohibited substances.

He was taken to a medical facility, for the collection of biological samples.

In both situations, investigations are being carried out under the aspect of committing the crime of driving a vehicle on public roads under the influence of psychoactive substances”, reported the County Police Inspectorate (IPJ) Cluj.
