TIMISOARA. Aquatim joins the LA PAS craft gastronomy festival this weekend, with water for everyone, but also some activities included in the program.
Aquatim will provide water throughout the event. Several distribution points will be set up with dispensers, supplied with drinking water from the treatment plant. The program of the event includes a guided tour of the old Water Plant, the future Water Museum, on Saturday morning, September 24, where participants will learn what sustainability meant more than a century ago. On Sunday, between 3 and 5 p.m., Aquatim has prepared a workshop with interactive games and experiments on the theme of access to safe water, for all ages. Together with Aquatim specialists, workshop participants will discover many interesting things about drinking water, waste water and water from nature.
LA PAS will take place in the Rozelor Park in Timișoara, between September 23-25. Far from being a simple street food festival, La Pas aims to stimulate the appetite for sustainable consumption and culture. More details about the festival can be found on the dedicated website, https://la-pas.cries.ro/and the updated program can be accessed at the following link: https://la-pas.cries.ro/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/PROGRAM-Festival-LA-PAS_final_19.09.2022.pdf
The Timișoara water company and the organizers LA PAS, the Resource Center for Ethical and Solidarity Initiatives, are long-term partners, being linked by common concerns for encouraging responsible consumption and promoting the safety of tap water.
