The producer and supplier of thermal energy from the municipality of Arad, CET Hidrocarburi, announces that from Monday it will start testing the tightness of the heating networks, specifying that there are contracts signed with natural gas suppliers for the cold season, and the price per gigacalorie has not been changed compared to last year last.

“We ask the associations of owners/tenants and economic agents that intervened on the heating installations to complete their work, to avoid problems of any nature caused by the verification operations to be carried out until the heating is started. In the event of leaks (water leaks at the internal installation), owner/tenant associations and economic agents can contact the Heating Dispatch of CET Hidrocarburi, on phone 0257/231367, 0357/412244, which has a permanent schedule”transmitted, on Friday, the operator that supplies the municipality of Arad with thermal energy.

The representatives of CET Hidrocarburi specified that the contracts were signed for the supply of the natural gas necessary for the production of the heating agent in the cold season, and the price per gigacalorie was not changed compared to last year.

From December 1, 2021, the population pays a price of 398 lei per gigacalorie, 40% more than in 2020 (280 lei/gigacalorie), after the local councilors approved the increase in the price of thermal energy. The National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) had approved for the operator from Arad a price for production, transport and distribution of thermal energy of 1,156.06 lei (VAT included), the difference of 758.06 lei being covered by subsidies.

CET Hidrocarburi, with the Arad Municipal Local Council as a 100% shareholder, still has approximately 25,000 household customers, with approximately 10,000 less than ten years ago, after many have disconnected and opted for gas apartment centrals.
