From October 1st, the activities carried out in the pressostatic balloon in the “Mureșul” Leisure and Sports Complex will be fully taken over by the Olympic Pool located in Carpathian Alley. At this moment, a large part of the athletes are already active in the new location. Taking into account the price increases for both electricity and thermal energy, the executive of the Târgu Mureș City Hall decided to put the pressurized balloon into conservation mode, this fact not having a negative impact on the activity of athletes, respectively swimming enthusiasts. “Given the energy crisis, we also need to reduce costs, to take a series of measures to reduce bills in the coming months. All sporting activities will be transferred to the Olympic pool.
Next, we analyze the situation and observe the measures we can take with regard to other activities or in other institutions, because the bills will become difficult to pay”, said Soós Zoltán, the mayor of Târgu Mureș. Within Târgu Mureș City Hall, a series of measures aimed at reducing utility costs will be adopted, these will be made public shortly.
