TIMISOARA. Accident on Saturday afternoon on a boulevard in Timisoara, as a result of which a pedestrian was injured right on the zebra crossing.

The man, aged 77, was regularly crossing Constantin Brancoveanu boulevard, on the pedestrian crossing, when a too hasty driver did not give him priority and hit him.
The man was knocked onto the asphalt and was injured, being taken over by an ambulance that arrived at the scene.
“A 32-year-old man drove a car on Constantin Brancoveanu boulevard in Timisoara, and at the intersection with Rusu Sirianu street, he surprised and injured a pedestrian, a 77-year-old man, engaged in crossing the public road on appropriately signalized pedestrian crossing. As a result of the impact, the pedestrian was injured. A criminal case was drawn up under the aspect of committing the crime of culpable bodily harm“, send IPJ Timis representatives.
The driver was made to blow into the breathalyzer, which showed that the man had not been drinking before getting behind the wheel.
