Retailers know that, along with lamb, eggs are the most sought-after Easter food, so they have adjusted prices based on customer interest. Thus, in the “Progresul” Market, in Bucharest, an egg ended up being sold, these days, for 1.3/piece.
In other news, nutritionists are calling attention to how many eggs you can eat in a day.
Doctor Mihaela Bilic shed light on this case.
“It would be good if the aperitif was a little earlier, we take a break, drink another coffee, another hour passes, then the soup comes with another dish, after which it is advisable to take a break again. If we spread the table throughout the day, we wouldn’t have any stress”said doctor Mihaela Bilic, at Digi 24.
“Contrary to a popular opinion, eggs do not harm the liver, on the contrary, the liver “rejoices”, because the egg is a very valuable food for restoring the liver. It is important not to have a lazy gallbladder, especially if the egg is hard boiled.
The hardest to digest is the hard yolk. Ideally, the boiled egg should be sticky, but it should be eaten no later than the day after preparation. As Easter eggs are stored for a longer time, such a yolk consistency would not be indicated. Hard-boiled eggs can be consumed for up to a week if kept in the refrigerator.” said the nutritionist.
