Just as the Orthodox Christians annually remove the relics of Saint Paraschiva to Iași, in the same way, every four years, during the election period, the liberals appeal to the relics of the prophet Ilie, more precisely Ilie Bolajan, in order to strengthen the faith in the active party.
It has already slowed down that before the elections, liberals from all over the world arrive in Oradea to take pictures with the head of CJ Bihor, in the hope that they will capitalize on his image at the level of the entire country. What seems strange to me is that, as the National Liberal Party looks now, led to the abyss by the Iohannis – Ciucă – Bode trident, Bolojan’s place is not under his folds.
You have to have the guts to come and brag about Oradea’s achievements, as if they belonged to the PNL and not to a team that took over the administration “per natural person”. When the alliance with the PSD was voted on, only five liberals, including Birta and Bolojan, were against it. Well, why capitalize on the image of people who are ultimately marginal and marginalized in the party?
Another aspect to be discussed is why should the liberals from Galati, Maramureș, Bistrita or elsewhere brag about the achievements of the Bihorens? The PNL was in government, it also had a prime minister and even the president on its side. What prevented the distinguished descendants of the Bratians from following our good practices? Let them also kick out people who do nothing through the town halls, attract as much European funds as possible, abolish institutions that only feed the party’s assets…
It is not Birta and Bolojan who give the current image of the PNL at the national level, but Iulian Dumitrescu, who, with the active bribery file, wants to become president of CJ Prahova again. The image of the liberals is given by the penalties from Iași, by Rareș Bogdan, who has been abolishing special pensions for about four years, by the plagiarists Ciucă and Bode, by all the party scumbags who, together with the pesedists, imagined an unnatural political construction, only as to be able to plunder Romania at will.
The fact that Ilie Bolojan preferred to stay at the County Council instead of going to Bucharest shows that his chances of changing things in the PNL are almost non-existent. For the great liberal party, the two people from Bihor act as locomotives, but for Birta and Bolojan, the party is just a millstone.
