PSD Satu Mare, message to the residents of Satu Mare de Florii. Mircea Govor: “Good health, happiness and Happy New Year!”

The Satu Mare Social Democratic Party sends a message to all Satu Mare citizens who celebrate the Flowers today. The president of the political formation, Mircea Govor, wished “Happy birthday” to all those celebrating their name day.

“On this holy day of Flowers, I want to convey to our villagers, to those who celebrate their name day, good health, joy and happy birthday!”, reads the message sent by PSD Satu Mare president Mircea Govor.

Palm Sunday, celebrated on the Sunday before Easter, marks Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem, where he was greeted with palm branches and flowers by the enthusiastic crowd. Palm branches and flowers thus become symbols of joy and hope.

Flowers are also associated with spring and the rebirth of nature, bringing a message of optimism and spiritual renewal. In Christian traditions, this holiday marks the beginning of Passion Week, in which Christians commemorate the suffering, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Thus, the celebration is also an opportunity to reflect on the spiritual significance of Jesus’ sacrifice and the hope brought by his Resurrection.
