On the evening of Saturday, April 27, 2024, around 9:00 p.m., the traffic police in Alba Iulia stopped a 56-year-old man from the Municipality of Sibiu, while he was driving a car on Orizontului street in Alba Iulia. The man was under the influence of alcoholic beverages and did not hold a driver’s license for any category of motor vehicle.
After testing him with the breathalyzer, he was found to have a concentration of 0.51 mg/l of pure alcohol in his breath. He was taken to the hospital for the collection of blood samples, in order to determine the blood alcohol level.
Investigations are being conducted against the man for the offenses of driving without a license and driving under the influence of alcohol.
