How voting intention changed in Bucharest, after Firea and Burduja announced their candidacy – Avangarde poll

The voting intentions of the citizens of Bucharest changed significantly, after Gabriela Firea (from the PSD) and Sebastian Burduja (from the PNL) announced their candidacies, after the withdrawal of support for the doctor Cătălin Cîrstoiu.

Thus, according to an Avangarde survey, if next Sunday there were elections for the Capital City Hall, the votes would go like this:

  • Nicusor Dan – 31%
  • Gabriela Firea – 24%
  • Cristian Popescu Pedestrians – 20%
  • Sebastian Burduja – 15%
  • Mihai Enache (AUR) – 7%

The PSD-PNL decision to abandon the joint candidate Cătălin Cîrstoiu for the Capital City Hall is considered good by 58% of those surveyed, while 18% consider it a wrong decision, and 24% do not know or do not answer.

If the vote for CGMB, the situation is as follows:

  • PSD – 31%
  • United Right Alliance – 25%
  • GNP – 20%
  • PUSL – 10%
  • GOLD – 9%
  • SOS Romania – 2%
  • MARK – 1%

Also, 42% of Bucharest residents declare themselves satisfied and very satisfied with the situation in Bucharest, 36% are dissatisfied or very dissatisfied, and 22% have a neutral opinion.

The options for the European Parliament were also polled, where the PNL-PSD coalition ranks first in the preferences of Bucharest residents.

  • PSD-PNL alliance – 50%
  • United Right Alliance – 26%
  • GOLD – 11%
  • PUSL – 9%
  • MARK – 2%
  • SOS Romania – 1%

The survey was carried out between April 24 and 27, on a sample of 1,150 subjects, representative of the adult population at the level of the Municipality of Bucharest, the data being collected through the door-to-door method. The maximum sampling error, at a 95% confidence level, is +/- 2.9%.
