The President of the Timiș County Council, Alin Nica, decided to join the Forța Dreptei team, the “real liberals”, as they are called, after resigning from PNL the other day.
“He categorically refused to obey the order from Bucharest to hand over the management of Timiș County to the PESEDISTS. Alin Nica will be our candidate for the presidency of the County Council and I am convinced that together with our partners from the United Right we will succeed in overturning the nefarious plans of the neo-communists to cage the free spirit of the people of Timișoara”. stated Ludovic Orbanthe president of Forza Dreptei, came to Timisoara.
He declares himself convinced that “Alin Nica is a formidable candidate, as Dominic Fritz, is a mayor who has demonstrated in the past four years that he is a mayor who has a vision and who can offer Timisoara the development it deserves“.
Present at the press conference with Ludovic Orban, Alin Nica launched accusations against the PNL president, Nicolae Ciuca: “In 1989, he did not die for dictates from Bucharest, nor for arbitrary decisions from the Capital. 34 years after the Revolution, a soldier fired again at the people of Timisoara, machine-gunned their hopes and ideals, and this is unacceptable for us, who are somehow regarded as wild animals. Alin Nica, former president of PNL Timiș, resigned from PNL at the end of last month. His decision came against the backdrop of tensions caused by the alliance with the PSD, which means that the social democrat will be supported in the electoral race for the Timiş County Council Alfred Simonis. A day after Alin Nica had announced that the liberal delegation from Timiș, participating in the Extraordinary National Council of PNL, voted unanimously against the electoral alliance with PSD, considering it unnatural, he was dismissed together with the entire leadership of PNL Timiș and PNL Timișoara . Vasile Blaga was appointed interim president of PNL Timiș.
